A Toongabbie man will appear in court after allegedly making a hoax bomb warning.
Last Tuesday Blacktown police charged the 59-year-old with conveying false
information that a person or property was in danger and public mischief .
The man allegedly phoned Crime Stoppers on August 13 saying that he had overheard a conversation between four men referring to how easy it would be to get a bomb on the transport system.
The ensuing security alert threw transport services in the city into chaos.
The man will appear at Blacktown Local Court on September 11.
