FCNonline.com.au is the Web site for Fairfax Community Newspapers,
publishers of community newspapers and specialty publications in
New South Wales and Victoria.
Our community newspapers date back to 1865. The Dandenong Journal,
The Williamstown Advertiser and The Express-Telegraph (Bacchus Marsh
and Melton editions) all have roots more than 100 years old.
The 28 community publications frequently win national awards for
excellence in journalism, design, and appeal. They tell you all
about your neighborhood - your schools, your taxes, your local sports,
weddings, engagements, obituaries and police news. And they write
about and photograph you and your neighbors.

It is a pleasure for me to welcome you to the group of outstanding
people who make up the Fairfax Community Newspapers team.
Fairfax Community Newspapers can boast a fast growing stable of
Australia's leading community newspapers. It embraces a diversity
of activities including publishing and printing. As such we engage
a wide cross section of talents, experience and resources.
The company's operations are spread throughout the diverse and
developing regions of Sydney's Metropolitan areas - Western, South
Western and Southern areas. It also has an ever widening coverage
of Melbourne's Metropolitan area.
Our staff are drawn from many areas, yet share their ideas and
expertise for a common purpose, bridging the gaps that regionalism
might otherwise create.
Management and staff all contribute to the preservation of that
indefinable spirit that permeates our activities. The emphasis,
first and foremost is on quality and customer service, both internally
and externally.
Our involvement and sponsorship of major community festivals throughout
Melbourne and Sydney, allows Fairfax Community Newspapers to increase
and maintain a high company profile within the community.
